The University allows students who wish to take a course via study abroad to apply credits from those courses toward their University degree provided the following conditions are met:
A minimum grade equivalent of C- is required for a course to be eligible for transfer.
Credits for duplicate courses are not eligible for transfer.
courses with the "150" designation can be duplicated as they are considered electives.
Approval must be obtained for any course selection changes made after the initial approval process is complete.
Grades earned on study abroad courses will not be included in the GPA.
Courses in the Catholic University in Rome semester, the London Parliamentary Internship, and all faculty-led programs will be considered resident credit, and grades will be included in the GPA.
Credits earned on Catholic University's own and affiliated study abroad programs will not be counted in the total number of transfer credits allowed under residency requirements.
It is the student's responsibility to request an official transcript to be sent to CUAbroad after you complete the study abroad term.
